ChessPilot is a free, browser-based chess analysis platform. We provide tools to evaluate chess games, practice puzzles, and study openings, all running entirely within your web browser using open-source technologies like Stockfish.

Our platform allows you to import games from third-party services such as Chess.com and Lichess. By using these import features, you agree to comply with the terms of service of these respective platforms. We are not responsible for any issues or rate-limiting enforced by these providers.

4. "As Is" Disclaimer

ChessPilot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

5. Intellectual Property & Open Source

ChessPilot utilizes several amazing open-source projects including React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Stockfish, and chess.js. We acknowledge and respect the licenses of these tools. The specific design, branding, and proprietary code of ChessPilot remain our intellectual property.

6. Future Monetization and Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time. While ChessPilot is currently provided completely free of charge, we reserve the right to introduce optional paid features, advertisements, or other forms of monetization in the future. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; any changes will be reflected on this page.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ChessPilot or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website or tools provided.
